Bull Run ZR1 Registry Sponorship
I see that they are bringing back Bull Run hosted by Bill Goldberg. Made me think that we should try to sponsor a team to be on the show. Looking for feedback for best combinations:
My thoughts are: Jeffvette Jon/Brad That would make for good television! I can just see Jeff driving and Jon/Brad riding shotgun/navigating. LGAFF 92 ZR1 #234 I would volunteer but we would probably run out of gas on the first leg of the race. |

Re: Bull Run ZR1 Registry Sponorship
This is too funny. I saw the commercials for the new show this weekend......and I was thinking to myself......
"hummmmm, the Lambo had clutch trouble (typical), the Elise was tough, the charger was a lead sled (my 72 LT-1 got better gas milage), a firebird won the thing, oh yea and that turbo regal??? What's wrong with this picture???? My Z could kick all of their a$$es, except the lambo and the Elise, on real world paved roads....and the lambo, well I'll just wait for it to break.... and the Elise, well if I get it on a long enough straight I just might get past it" Ahhhh, arm chair racing at it's best I thought to myself! I'd be too chicken that my Z would get too much road rash, and the fact that I've never been to a HPDE so I doubt that I could wheel well enough ....... but Brad & Jeff, well that's an idea!

Re: Bull Run ZR1 Registry Sponorship
Outside of the fact that I was kidding, not sure that is true...
better gas mileage than a ferrari/lambo/etc 24hr endurance record/reliability. Fairly equal power with some mods Suspension/brakes not hot, but if I recall there was z ZR-1 that has faired well in the one lap of america. LGAFF 92 ZR1 #234 |
