Hose Clamps
Looking for the original radiator and heater hose clamps for a 90 Z. The seller of my car had a GM dealer replace all the hoses and belts prior to sale, which was great, but they tossed the clamps.
Also, I have a NOS PF970C oil filter, which would be correct for a 91 or later Z. This is the one that has "Duarguard" on the lable. The one I need should not have Duraguard on it. $20, plus shipping or would trade for the correct filter for my car. Thanks, Jim |

Re: Hose Clamps
What is your production number on your ZR-1, as the early cars did not have the spring type clamps.

If you come across a 970 filter without Duraguard (which I understand was not a service replacement item), I would really appreciate a digital photo of the label. Thanks and good luck, I've been looking for 2 years. |

Re: Hose Clamps
My Z is number 1422, which is about midproduction. I'm not certain what would be considered early, but I think the changeover was about number 900.
I believe there's a photo of the early PF970C filter in the NCRS JM for the 1990. I will look this evening and if there is I will post it. Thanks for the input Jim |

Yes there is a photo in the 90/91 TIM-JM. Photo is not clear enough for my purposes. Good luck with having your car judged. Had mine done at last years National convention. Regards, John |

Re: Hose Clamps
Jim, I have some original unused spring clamps. Let me get the box out and I'll post up some pictures.
