Default Different Bilstein Sticker Design

Anybody get the new Bilsteins? The decal or sticker design appears to be different than the stockers (bummer).... So these are $179 each at eShocks.com. Seems reasonable.

Whats the brotherhood think? new shocks or send the old ones off to Bilstein? Do the rebuilts come back repainted with the new sticker or just cleaned up?

Thanks
Rick

Good point. I'm really inclined to buy the new and pack and save the originals.

Thanks for the comment.

Are you going to be at the NW gathering in a couple weeks?

Bilstein does not repaint them.

You can request decals...Take note of how they are placed, their directions are wrong. New gets you a warranty, rebuilt none.

I just bought a set awhile back.....just a word of warning, the valving is not the same as what was in my 90 OEM shocks. The new ones are softer than my oem ones. You can actually use the perf setting on the street, I never could do that before unless the road was glass smooth.

I never noticed that the stickers were different....

Weird, that kinda sucks... Though maybe your originals were stiffer than normal? I drive on "perf" pretty much all the time. Then again, I don't drive on NY roads!

Rick, are you replacing all 4? For the price of 4 new shocks you can almost get into a set of headers...
Saving the original shocks is a good idea though. Have fun!

Hey Nick, I want headers so bad, that I'm about ready tyo start selling my model collection on craigslist....... A top end job by the boys down south would be nice too... I know

As far as the shocks, I was thinking of doing the two in the rear before the trip to Las Vegas, and then the fronts in November.

There is a guy on you know where selling a PAIR for $149.95 (new) and I had to jump on it myself. He only has the front though and for the 90-91; his ID is: robbob36 and he does not have any listed now, but does have more and I thought I should have bought another set but I should be good in my lifetime......I hope. These look exactly like the originals.
