Re: 1990 ZR1
Hi, I'm Tom & I see we're almost neighbors. I'm in lower westchester county.
How fast do you want a stk system? I'm in the process of buying headers for my 90 and if you are not in a hurry maybe we can work a deal & help each other out. Don't get me wrong my 90 has 30K on it's system but it is intact and no holes anywhere & the mufflers are in good shape. The resonator looks good also. Anyhow this isn't gonna happen like yesterday....I'm still in the "parts selection & collection" stage of this project. For me I was thinking that my header install would be this winter's project....ya know with the exhaust out of the way there are a few things at the rear that I have my eye on looking into... Tom

Re: 1990 ZR1
Hi Tom, That sounds great. Thanks. I am not in a hurry at all, the system probably wont even be put on the car I just want to have an original too just in case. I like things original. The guy I bought the car from was a perfectionist but he didnt have the stock exhaust, and its the only missing piece. Keep me up to date and let me know how your making out. Thanks alot.

Re: 1990 ZR1
Check with Jim VanDorn at Automasters in Bowling Green. He had some up for sale on eBay last year, maybe he still has some left.

Hi Mike & welcome to the Brotherhood!
I'll keep you in the loop......mine is driven so I will not need my exh after the header install....whenever that project goes forward. I'll let you know when I know what and when with the old exh sys. Tom

Re: 1990 ZR1
Just a thought but you might check with the Vette Drs as they are local, and may have a take-off system laying around?
When Tom says the resonator looks good, he is almost certainly referring only to the condition. The actual shape/design of the resonator totally sucks. It looks like the nozzle on a rocket engine, it necks down into the resonator like crazy!
