Removed exhaust parts (pics)
So far I have about 7 hours time in pulling everything out & cleaning/painting time. There has to be some weight savings here!! The headers seem alot lighter than the cast manifolds.
Nice pile-O-parts.... Old manifols and "Folgers" cans!! 1500* Plasticote applied, hoping for the best

Those look great. Hope the paint stays on. Try the heat cycling like I posted and good luck. 5-6 times maybe to get the paint cured.

I just wiped the headers down with Prep-Sol, followed by a nice healthy washdown with Brake Kleen, let them dry & coated them with 3 light-medium coats.
