Hmmm...guess I am slow>>>
but for the life of me I can not find on either top (trans and solid) any numbers (such as VIN or serial..whatever) on them...can one of you point to exactlywhere these numbers would be located? The tops are supposed to be the originals and not aftermarket so the numbers should be there...yes?

Michael,
Depends on the year of your car. Earlier C4s didn't have the VIN on the tops. Off the top of my head I can't recall when Chevy started doing that but I know that my 91 doesn't have the VIN on its top. I sure somebody will pipe in with the year info. |

Another question to add while on the subject of tops
I know there is an RPO for th Solid, Transparent or Dual Tops. But is there a RPO for what color the transparent top is?

I believe "24S" is the blue tint, and "64S" is the bronze tint. Dual tops is "C2L"

According to the 1990 Order Guide that I received with the other papers when I bought the car, Aurora40 is correct for the 1990 model.
