Clutch cap stuck
I was going to add some fluid to the clutch, got the ECM out of the way, but can't budge the cap. I am scared to force it too bad as it looks like I could break the whole thing. Any tips?
Never mind. I went ahead and forced it. It came off ok. Sorry.

Re: Clutch cap stuck
I was about to do the same thing today. I haven't looked it up, but does it take much to get the ECM out of the way?

Re: Clutch cap stuck
Will give it a go. It's just nice to have advice even on the easy stuff when you haven't done it before to keep from going "oh sh*t" after you crack something off. The manual is always so helpful - it goes into the great detail of saying something like "remove ECM." Thanks!

Re: Clutch cap stuck
OK. ECM out of the way and yeah...that darn cap is stuck. Does it twist off or just pull up. It is stuck on there hard. Thanks!

Re: Clutch cap stuck
Sometimes they take a little bit of force. They are pretty tough.

Re: Clutch cap stuck
You have to unscrew the cap. Some times it takes a little extra leverage since it is hard to get a good grip on the cap.

Re: Clutch cap stuck
I found that mine was real hard to get off. I thought I was going to break it to take it off.
