New ZR-1 owner... just introducing myself>>>
Jim asked me to say HI! to everyone...so here we go...
I purchased an extremely nice 90 ZR-1 (#566) on Thursday...drove in home here in Reston, Virginia. I presently own a C6 Lingerfelter 366 (known as MR BLU on the CorvetteForum) but I have always been taken by the ZR-1... everytime I would see one I knew one day I too would own one and the search began and ended yesterday. Here are a few pics of my red on red (yea I know it is the more common color combo but I love the looks  ) :Some specifics: 1990 #566 with dual tops and auto AC: miles at purchase 1327; fanatically maintained with constant fluid changes, new tires, all seals (door and rear lid) perfect condition etc etc. I consider it a real find:     I have started the detailing and a few upgrades...but I really want to keep this one OEM within reason (unlike my C6 which has numerous upgrades) Look forward to seeing fellow ZR-1 owners so I can learn from you...so here is to spring and driving weather and meets! our registry president is from virginia too, he's the one that destroyed the myth of virginia is for lovers...  he's a great guy and would help you in any way if you have trouble's with your car. Ron Kreigh You should plan on attending the "Gathering" in May in Bowling Green , Ky. You will learn more about your car there, in a long weekend, than you would in a year, not attending. plus, you can put faces here, to the names, albeit, some are better left lets say, "unviewed"  enjoy your new ride. |
