Default Planning a road trip - anyone interested in meeting up?

Hey everyone,

I finally have some vacation booked and am planning on taking another road trip.

The route we're taking is going to go through the Adirondacks to Albany, then Boston - Portland - Burlington then returning to Canada. We'll be setting off on Saturday the 29th of September and will be in the Albany/Boston/Portland/Burlington area for Sunday through Friday.

Would love to meet up with a few people if anyone is interested.

Here's a link to google maps showing the route we're planning on doing:

And if anyone has ideas for good places to stay in that area, let me know.

Thanks,

Dave

Hey Bob, I am quite lucky. Most companies here don't give you anything in the first year, but mine has decided to be generous so I have a WHOLE week to play with!

Hope you're still getting fun out of yours All the best to Emma.

Dave

Looks like a fantastic trip and little or no freeways. My wife and I love road trips. Have a blast.

I might be able to meet you up here one evening. It's still a little ways off and I have a ton of stuff going on but, I could let you know for sure when it gets a little closer. Maybe we could even get Bans25 to come out and play.
Just a thought.

I should have put the itinerary up. Our route is going to be something like this:

Sat - Kingston
Sun - Albany
Mon - Boston
Tue - Boston
Wed - Portland
Thur - Burlington
Fri - Ottawa
Sat - Ottawa

Blackjack - we wouldn't be in Burlington on the Sunday as we're stopping off there on the way back. If you're in Quebec how about meeting up somewhere once we get back across the border? Would cut your travel down a bit.

Quasar: The dragway would be nice if we could coordinate it, haven't had chance to give the ZR-1 a really good thrashing yet! The more the merrier. Or we could just meet up socially if that's preferable.

Thanks

Dave

That sounds good bj. We're going to be there a couple of days (have been meaning to visit there since we moved over) looking around, playing tourist etc.
