90- Hesitation/bucking at part/steady throttle
More than part throttle or WOT is fine. Cant hear a "miss" to speak of...
Had some real old gas in it which is about burned out, new plugs and fuel filter yesterday. Topped it off with fresh premium and drove it about 90 miles, no change RC205, 2-3 yrs old. Anyone experience this and what was your fix? Thing ran perfect when I parked it last year. If I have to pull the plenum to fix it I can kiss Vegas goodbye this year but I gotta get this done. .

Got it.......TPS connector is a little tweaked. Played with it for a bit and the problem is gone so it seems. Whoeer worked on it before broke the clips off so its not a real tight fit.

you can get a virgin watertight connector at kragens or pep boys . wont even have to cut anything as the pins just slide in .best thing to do it with is a paper clip

Re: 90- Hesitation/bucking at part/steady throttle
Lucky guessing...With all the work I did this last year that was the only thing "electrical" that was moved, so focused on that. There isnt a specail tool I need to pop those pins and wires out?
Probably leave it for now, to do it the way Iwant Im better off pulling the plenum and I know where that will lead to...Have another car thats dying for some attention right now, wanna leave this one tigether. At least for awhile Fwiw, it could just be the warm weather but the car almost felt stronger with the NGK Irridium plugs, maybe its in my head, dunno...

your are correct the ngks are worth about 7-10 over the others and they burn cleaner too. special tool is a paper clip

Re: 90- Hesitation/bucking at part/steady throttle
Id be curious to see some testing on this. I have never felt a diff in any car Ive owned when it comes to plugs but for some reason I truly wonder if there is, sure feels like it. If I had a little extra $$ floating around Id stick the old NGks back in and run it on the dyno, then swap em out for curiositys sake. .
