My 1994 has the secondaries system deleted, yet still popped a code 61. I'll dig through my FSM, but any ideas on what to look for? I cleared it and will see if it comes back. Thank you.

Have you changed the PROM or the BIN in the PROM or is is this how you got it?

How I got it. I read the program off it for safe keeping but haven't changed anything yet.

I confirmed in TunerPro both...
"Port Throttle System Diag. (Error 61)" "Port Throttle Vacuum Dag. (Error 56)" Are both enabled in the BIN. Should one or both have been disabled? The tables... "Port Throttle Opening Point vs. RPM" "Port Throttle Closing Point vs. RPM" .... are both entirely set to 0% TPS, which looks correct given the secondaries are removed. |

scorp, those diagnostics are looking for min and max voltages at the port throttle vacuum sensor. They need to be changed if you have removed throttles and vac sensor.

Has your prom chip been reprogrammed for secondary delete by Marc Heibeck?

I'll burn a new one and see how it does. Waiting on USPS to deliver a few more EEPROMs as I can't find my stash.

I recommend not just turning the flags off but changing the voltage thresholds themselves also. There is a max vac for open and min for close, if I recall . I don?t have my notes right now though.
