LTPWS Sensors for Sale
I have 2 LTPWS sensors for sale. These are the ones that that used for the 89 to 92 Corvettes. I checked both of them and they work. Going for $195 a piece. They are the orange one or right rear wheel but if you know how and I do, they can be modified for any position. Let me know.

Re: LTPWS Sensors for Sale
How does the mod work? Don't know which colors I have, assuming the mod is for the electronics so the computer can recognize each individual sensor even if the are the same color?
Thinking I need 1 or more as mine passes the self test when you turn the key to run to start the car, but then the LTPW light comes on and stays on when I'm driving (tire pressures checked OK before each drive).

Back a few years ago, NCRS put out a publication about how to change the position of the sensor. You have to take the circuit board out and there are 4 solder points on the board. Depending on what position that you want, you can scratch the solder off or solder a point on the board. I did it and it worked great. Also, the color coded also has the the position of the sensor printed on it. I've been messing with this since I've had my 89. It could be the LTPWS module acting up. It has a self test according to Gordon. He tried to test my module but it was fried. No idea how. I replaced the module, which is a real trick in itself, and it worked great. I did check each sensor and they worked. What you will need to do is get a diagnostic tool and scan the module. If it is working correcting, you shouldn't see Low Tire Pressure until you start moving because it doesn't have any power until the crystal starts vibrating. Then you will get it. Bottom line is that it is the sensor. Quickest way is to interrogate the module and it can tell you. Let me know. I have the manuals for the 92. Roy

Re: LTPWS Sensors for Sale
When I bought my 92 last year put new tires on first thing, found 2 sensors, blue and yellow. Took them off. How can I test to see if good, so I could sell as good?

If you have something that vibrates, tape it to the moving part and stand next to your car with the key on. Start the vibration and after a few seconds or so, the low tire pressure light will come on the DIC if the light works. That's what I do to check them. I did it before by just shaking it back and forth but that's tiring.

Re: LTPWS Sensors for Sale
Sorry to turn this into a troubleshooting Q&A, was trying to determine whether it made sense for me to grab these for future replacement (new tires desperately needed). After thinking a bit about it, realized I'll probably end up just eliminating them down the road with future planned mods to the car.
Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.
