More C8R specs DOHC Flat Plane Crank.
https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/c...185500425.html
I saw the base c8 this past weekend on the streets of Chicago and I must admit the eye candy appeal wasn't there. Maybe it needs to grow on me.

Most of the current articles on this are
making a bigger deal out of the flat plane crank than DOHC??? Last edited by Mystic ZR-1; 10-12-2019 at 11:15 AM. |

The RPM limits are much higher but to my understanding at a cost to overall reliability? Has anyone seen the latest Hovemann Hillclimb video? 9000rpm LT5 sounds amazing with the flat plane crank! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KiTBRyGUy0o

Hib, you forgot the other half of the v8.
An example of a flat plane firing order is 14527638 Or two four cylinders firing 1342 Graham |

That LT5-powered Opel sounds like a Cup Car to me, ie: a 90° crank.
