Can those of you with stock 91 wheels let me know if you have your LTPWS label on the outside of the rim lip (Perpendicular to road) or on the flat part of the rim (parallel to the road). Please include VIN number(last 4 digits) and is one end of it lined up with the lug nut one away from the valve stem clockwise?
Thank you. Joel |

Joel
Believe the slightly worn labels that were on my stock 1991 wheels were original to the car. I applied new labels in the same position as the original ones. They are on the flat part of the rim, forty five degrees counterclockwise from the valve stem on all four wheels. Have highlighted center position of the label with a blue piece of tape. Photo attached. Car is 1470. Hope this helps Dan

Dan and Marty,
Thank you and yes it does help. I have seen an early 91 at Nationals with the early style of LTPWS on the side of the rim, they were original. Yours is the second design. So we know there was a running change now, just not certain where. Hopefully some more folks with lower VINs will chime in of their style and locations. Crazy project has turned into the mystery for me and I'd like to help figure it out. Appreciate everyone's help. Joel Last edited by Joelbbvette; 09-14-2019 at 11:49 AM. |

![]() Found the photo and these are the second design that are parallel to the road. I do believe these labels are still available from one of the large Corvette houses. Thanks Joel Last edited by Joelbbvette; 02-06-2020 at 12:14 AM. Reason: found infp |
