Re: battery woes
Replaced mine a couple of weeks ago with an Autozone DuraLast Gold. Part number 75-DLG. Price $79.99 minus $10 for the old battery.

Re: battery woes
I just pulled the old battery..from my z, and I now realize
the guy i bought it from..was a cheap bastard. it was a delca battery...WTF? NO..not a delco...a frikkin.... delca..never even heard of em. i guess he bought it for size, but..no wonder it crapped out. Got me a spiffy new Delco now...getting ready for my trip to chicago..for some gears, keyless entry, and chip. from Mr Haibeck |

Re: battery woes
Well it looks like I'm going to need to replace my battery as well. I don't want to make any modifications to the car so it sounds like that rules the Optima out. Any other suggestions on a good battery?

The last time I opted for a Duralast Gold and have not had any problems, but I do use a tender on it every few weeks to keep it charged when I haven't driven it. |

Re: battery woes
I wont buy AC Delco batteries anymore. The parts place I buy most of my parts was told by there Delco rep that there was a new battery return policy. When you bring in a faulty Delco battery the store must put a 24 hour charge on the battery to in fact see if the battery needs to be replaced. So what do you do about a battery in the mean time, borrow one?Besides,AC Delco batteries are junk.Ill use Diehards until I find out there junk, then Il use something else.
