Default Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3

Hello! I want to buy new GS-D3 in OEM sizes 275/40ZR17 & 315/35ZR17. For Europe we will need the E-Mark on the tire. Is there anybody who use this tires and can upload photos from it.
The E-Mark is like the USA DOT it´s displayed with a number like "E4" or "E11"

Thanks
Juergen

Hi Juergen
I have those F1 Good Year tires on my 95 ZR1 here in NYC in the ZR1 sizes front n rear
I just went to the garage n looked for those E4 or E11 markings
Mine don't have them but will take a closer look daytime:now 10;20pm here
Do the marking need to be on tires to pass inspection ?
Let me know n i'll see if i can get them with the E4 or E11 markings

Hello!
Thanks for looking. Normally stands the E in a circle and the number 4 or 11 is only for example. It could be a number between 1 and i think 25 (the number stands for the Country in the EU which have registered the product).

In EU you´ll need the E-Mark on every automotive part, that it´s allowed to use it.

Best regards
Juergen

The 275 front F1 has an E13 marking
The rears don't have the E

What if you have them on the car n they do not not have the E mark ?
Call DISCOUNT TIRE or TIRE RACK here in the US n ask if the new F1s have the E mark....or i will call for you
...or i buy them here n ship to my house in Greece n you pick up from there in 6 weeks
Is this another EU Geshtapo Merkel Tactic to make $$$$$ ?

Thanks for your help.
It's like the CE. If you want to sell a product in the EU it's necessary to register it.
The different between DOT and E-Mark is, the EU desired information in wet condition, rolling noise and rolling resistance for fuel consumption.

Tire Rack always showed the F1 GSD3 in the results for ZR-1 Tires.
It would usually show the tire as low or no stock, but it showed it.
It no longer does.
Might they be telling us something?

They only show drag radials and autocross tires for the ZR-1.
While we can go with the Larger Michelins, our friends in Europe who require a stock size tire might encounter some difficulty.

Anyone talk to Good Year lately?

They make sporadic production runs in Spring. I recall the same issue several years ago around this time prior to the Sebring races. A few months later the tires were restocked.

I currently use the wider PS2’s in the back and standard size up front.
