Default Any of the recommended transmission fluids red?

So I’m changing the fluid in the transmission with some Redline MTL (which is a golden yellow like most lubes) and the fluid that drained out was red. Are any of the other recommended fluids red in color? It looks a lot like ATF.

I don't have any to look at but I really though the Redline synchromesh fluid was/is red.

When I changed my VSS red fluid came out and the fluid was recently changed.

Either it was red or I am overworked and need a vacation.

The Redline MTL Syncromesh fluid is a very light yellow-pink colour. This a a very dark red. Also, how sparkly should it be?

Sorry, I used Amsoil and not Redline.

The Amsoil is red.

Good luck!

I am about to plan a vacation.

I have Valvoline in the motor, Amsoil in the transmission, and Royal Purple in the Dana 44.

Amsoil Synchromesh is not red, more like honey yellow oil. I'd consider a repeat fill, run trans, and flush to get out that ATF. You probably could accomplish it safely on the lift with low speed wheels turning 1st gear, 3minute run time.
Sparkles are brass syncro material which you want to drain suspended in oil, non-ferrous so a magnet won't help.Amsoil.jpeg20170423_001210.jpeg20170423_002116.jpeg

Guess I am color blind. Looks red to me!

That is gear oil. Not transmission oil.

The Red Line Heavy Shock Proof is generally used when a light weight flywheel has been installed to dampen transmission rattle. I believe Haibeck recommends it for that purpose. He provides an excellent guide here.
