In the doghouse
Long story short, I picked up a used power steering cooler to replace mine which is all chewed up. I know! No one can see it but I know it's all raggedy. Right?
It arrived last night and decided to clean it up a bit. I filled it with mineral spirit, sloshed it a bit and drained it into a pan in the laundry room adjacent to the kitchen, breakfast room and living room. Boy! Did the Mrs. ever get pissed off... I never had any aversion to petroleum or solvents and assume the same for everyone else. I guess I am wrong... Won't be doing that again. |

Re: In the doghouse
I hear what everyone is saying.
Between the car, motorcycle & airplane parts always being in close proximity, I had to make a decision. I chose the car, motorcycle & airplanes. Have not regretted it for a second. I do have a rescue dog. She loves me and never says a word!!

Re: In the doghouse
I did, but before I was married. Used gasoline as the solvent of choice. 4 barrel from my '67 Coupe. Worked like a charm afterward and didn't burn down the house. --Bob

At the kitchen table, a lot of Brides don't like the smell of

The longer you are gone, the happier they are to see you when you get home.
