LTPWS Light
Contrary to what I understood, the 92 LTPWS light does come on when no sensor are installed. On my car at least.....
It took about 50 miles of driving, then the light came on. Looks like I have to remove the bulb.

I have a 92 and do not have any sensors installed in my wheels. Found that out when I replaced the tires 5 years ago. The LTPSW light does not come on. I know the bulb is still installed and working as LTPSW lights up with all the other lights when you first start up the car.

Hi I have a 1990 and when you run wheels with out sensors the light doesn't come on if I run 1 wheel with a sensor the light comes on when at the drags and I let the rear tires down to17psl the low tire pressure light comes on by the end of the 1/4 mile

90 and 91 are SUSPOSED to be the ONLY MYs that you can pull the bands and have no light. All other year models you need to pull the bulb. Dredgeguy is the ONLY exception to that I that I have EVER heard of 14 years of C4 ownership. GC

My '92 #180 had a functioning LTPWS when I first bought it. When I drove it home, the light was on. All tires had approximately 20psi in them. I aired the tires up when I arrived at home, and after driving the car the light shut off. Fast forward to my first set of new tires for the car... I had the sensors removed because one of the sensors was damaged. The light comes on every time I turn the car on like it's supposed to, and shuts off after the engine starts... but the sensors are not present. Does this mean I'm special too?
