My light is hidden in the AC vent and was made by Raptor.

Mine is from Harlin and hidden in the vent. Mark Horner did a group buy for Wazoo when he was still in DC and several of us had it installed.

Yup! I like mine hidden in that very spot as well, Charlie!

The (RAPTOR light, in my case) is about 2.5" long and about as big in diameter as a the barrel of a Uni-ball (ball point [click-click]) pen. The wires were long enough to reach the "C-1" connector by my left toes where I accessed the tack wire and a chassis ground.

By referencing my Dynojet graph, my power curve peak (flattens out) between 6800 and 7100 rpm. But, my 1/4 mile times are better if I back the trigger down to ~6800...allowing for reaction time, I recon (and NO wise crack, thank you very much! LOL!).

Jeff check with Mark Horner as he has the contact information for Harlan. He also wrote an article in the HOTB on installation.

We did a group buy last year on the shift lights and if there is enough interest we might do another one.

If you don’t have Mark’s contact info let me know.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. I just received a message from a member that had a extra one through Mark's group buy. This is a perfect example of why the ZR-1 net registry community so great. All of us networking to help each other keep our pieces of History rolling. Thank you all.

If you order a new one from Harlan (available online) you get a choice of LED color.
If you tell him you want to remote mount it in a Corvette, he will install extended leads to make it easy to install at no extra cost. Good guy to deal with. All units are made to order.
