Hello,
I am replacing my driveshaft u-joints. The old joint at the yoke in the front flops around as you turn the drive shaft (once it has been removed from the car). The new Spicer joint is stiffer. It moves freely and completely but "holds" its position as I turn the driveshaft parallel to the ground. Is this normal or do I have the caps pressed in too tight? How loose should the new joint be? Thanks, Bill

Both my old and new joints held the yoke when rotating the shaft. Replaced them today.
