Have any of you guys used this particular one? The price, less than $200, seems reasonable for the whole rig, plug and play.
Any opinions on this brand?

You only get the two fuel pumps with the socks for $200. You can get replacement fuel pumps with the socks for about $25 each from RockAuto.

Well Duh, my fault for not reading closely.

On even closer reading, I noticed that Lingenfelter offers a different Walbro pump, (search #710040390), for the LT5. They claim these were used on the legendary twin turbo cars John L. built, back in the day.
I'm always inclined to overkill when replacing stock parts, trying to upgrade instead of just replacing with "factory stock". This sometimes gets me in trouble, but I'm wondering if these high capacity pumps would provide ANY improvement in maintaining reliable, full fuel pressure on a stock LT5?
I think I know what the answer is going to be, but has anyone tried these high capacity versions on a stock LT5?... Results?

This is what I did. After removing the whole assembly it looked to be in good shape, so we replaced just the pumps with the RockAuto units,(listed on their site as replacements for 91' Corvette 5.7 liter DOHC engine), it has ten pounds more pressure now and runs great. Also replaced the in- line fuel filter too.

Note: Although the car started and ran when those old pumps were running with low pressure, it did not crap out completely. So this led me to believe that it might not be the pumps. (this problem crept up on me, getting worse over time )
But installing two fresh pumps cured another problem that I've had for years, long cranking at start up. The starter always worked for 5-10 seconds before the engine fired.
With the new pumps in there, it fires up immediately when you turn the key.
So, if any of you guys have an LT5 that takes a long time to spark up, even though it "seems to run ok", check the fuel pressure, a feeble fuel pump may be the cause.

great topic. From what Graham told me the stock pumps are "enough" to feed 700 HP. I just got a code 55 up top and decided it's time to check fuel pressure and replace the pumps and fuel socks.


after seeing the delco pump were 32 each with socks and little "kit" with clamps and stuff, I said, what the hey, time to swap em out.


I did spring for a K&L fuel filter though :>


The walbro 340 is a "big pump" and it seems like just doing the secondary pump might make sense?


the little old 390 LSV has some "room" left at 619 hp, but going overkill on the secondary side of the fuel system makes some sense to me as we've always had a hard time "giving this car enough" fuel to make power up top.


we'll see what she does after a couple of fresh stockers go in. I have 105k miles and 23years on these pumps and socks so I think it's time.


I'm sure the pumps get weaker over time. nothing lasts forever except the LT5

They are walbro GSS340's if my memory serves. I use them. no problems.

They are fatter. I had to split the plastic housing to expand it slightly.
