Default Video: belt tensioner and harmonic balancer

Guys,

Video is not great as its from my iPhone, but can you watch this video and let me know if the "wobble" noise off of the belt tensioner is Ok-acceptable?

The car has 27k miles and a new serpentine belt. I also did my best to get some decent video of the harmonic balancer. Thought please.

Can't make out the balancer, but that does not sound good. Sounds like the tensioner. Was the A/C on at the time? Need to rule out that, the alternator and PS pump. But does sound like the tensioner.

Always amazes me the issues low mile cars have. All that inactivity really is not good. Seals dry out and bearings seize.

I just went thru this in April. Look to replace the pulley on the tensioner. And if the belt is old, replace it.

Thanks Guys,

A/C was not on...belt is brand new.

I'll order a new tensioner from Jerry's.

Appreciate the help!

You statement is so correct! This car sat for 10 years, that means NO maintenance. So, guess what I've been doing? Driving it, listening, watching and asking. I've replaced windshield wipers, fixed the A/C, new serpentine belt, tires, rotors, brake pads, all fluids radiator to diff, new FX-3 shocks and actuators (Thank You Captain Z) and exhaust. Now I'm noticing the smaller, but important details. Appreciate everyone's eyes and ears, love the car, but needs TLC to be safe and reliable.
