Passive lock conversion
Has anyone, or does anyone know about changing the passive security system to active?

Re: Passive lock conversion
I guess maybe I should be more specific. I want to be able to use an active system outside the transmitters current range. I know how to disable the PKE, I just want to be able to unlock without having to be "in range".

Re: Passive lock conversion
I suggest looking for an after-market remote entry system. All of the stock PKE system I have worked on have a fairly limited range of about 5 feet at most.
