Default Secondaries actuator solenoid valve

Can one still acquire the solenoid for the secondaries anywhere? Or are the included in any of the hose kits?

Appreciate the links, gentlemen, but those are the actuators, and I'm looking for the solenoid.

There are 2 parts,an early and late. The early valve has the small foam filter and the later design has the slip on filter that slips on a nipple on the valve.

Do you know if the later style will fit? And if, does anyone still sell it?

Either one will work.

Also, A couple of years ago, I bought 20 of the AC Delco # 214-358 / GM# 1997212 solenoid valve to convert & use for replacements, as per the link provided in post #5.

Every one of them leaked vacuum when tested. The tests were validated against a new OE valve which held vacuum. Needless to say, I abandoned the project until I could find the time to see about making a repair kit to "overhaul" the OE valve. I have not encountered an OE valve that had a faulty solenoid actuator, just leaky.

Well that's a bit disappointing. I was just about to buy one of those. Surely there must be solenoids one could modify for the purpose? I assume these are molded shut/not serviceable?
