My mother had some major work done on her Caddy by the dealer.
After driving for a few days, she had to fuel up. She couldn't get the gas cap access door to open. She took the car back to the dealer. They said there was a valet switch that locks the fuel door. Googled it...sounds like there's a valet switch in the glove box you need to turn off. Controls the fuel door and trunk.
