Default Exhaust soundclip thread

I thought this might be good to have. As I look for a new exhaust I am trying to find out what it will sound like before dropping a lot of coin on an exhaust.

Engine: Stock
Exhaust: Stock with resonator delete, and Borla axleback

That's a good idea, we really need the description of the mods though (like you just did)!

The only problem with listening to a car idle or revving it up is, it is not the same as driving the car on the road at different rpm's.

I heard a Power Effects exhaust back in the late 90's. It sounded great.
So, I ordered one for my 94 LT1. I installed it and took the vette for a
20 min. drive. The resonance was unbearable. I took the exhaust off and
sent it back for a refund.

I bought a 90 ZR1 with an early B&B system. It sounded great at idle or
revving it up. Those of you who have had this system know what I mean
when I say it is loud and practically unbearable while driving.

The only true way to know what an exhaust system sounds like is to take
it for a test drive.
