Question Favorite James Bond?

With Daniel Craig set to play the new James Bond, who would you say is your favorite Bond over the years. Also, how would you rank them from best to worst?

For me, it is a toss up between Sean Connery and Roger Moore as my favorite. If I had to pick one it would be Roger Moore only because I enjoyed his movies a little more. So my order would be as follows;

1) Roger Moore

2) Sean Connery

3) Pierce Brosnan

4) ???

Both Timothy Daulton and George Lazenby don't even seem like JB to me so I can't bring myself to rank them.

Here is a link that covers their careers and movies each of them starred in.

Now I'm really dating myself!

I remember when "From Russia with Love" came out! Although I wasn't old enough to get in, legally!

To me Sean Connery will always be 007, he fit the general description in the Flemming books. Yea, I did read them!

I would love to have his supercharged Bently or the straight 8 Alfa from Moonraker!

Tom

I had a suspicion that Sean Connery would be the choice among many here, and I like him as Bond myself. He had a certain edge to him, and being the first Bond helped to solidify his image as the true James Bond for many.

I guess being a little younger I grew up watching the Bond films with Moore, and the others seemed dated at the time.
However as I grew older and watched them, I appreciated Sean Connery more and more. As an actor I have always enjoyed his films and I can't think a poor performance in any of them.

Sean Connery is my favorite, although I grew up with Roger Moore. Goldfinger is my favorite Bond flick. I mean, how can you go wrong on a film when one of the characters is named P*ssy G@lore!! I'm going to go see Casino Royale Friday!

Sean Connery was the first and set the James Bond standard.
The others, at their best, only operated in his shadow.

One of my favorite lines from a Bond movie....."GoldenEye".....sadly "Q" died in 1999 after 17 of 19 Bond films spanning 36 years.

Q: And this, I'm particularly proud of - behind the headlights,....... stinger missiles!
James Bond: Excellent, just the thing for unwinding after a rough day at the office.
Q: Need I remind you, 007, that you have a license to kill, not to break the traffic laws.
