Projects update
I finally got around to getting a few things done on the Z, thought I'd post some pics. I replaced the rear hatch weatherstrip, put in a Hurst short throw shifter, checked the oil pan bolts (removed and cleaned the braces), and put all new brakes on the car. Grand Sport calipers, Powerslot frozen rotors, Hawk ceramic pads, and Russell stainless lines. The brand new shiny GS calipers looked out of place, so I painted the rest of the parts (front and rear brackets and the rear calipers) with black epoxy paint. I just went out for some initial bedding in of the brakes, and testing the shifter out. I like it a lot better than the stock one!

Very nice pictures Brian and your beast looks great
I also like your crotch rocket photos. Brings back memories of my feet on the rear pegs laying out on the tank under the fairing going way too fast. |

Re: Projects update
Wow that's a real nice lookin' Z!
Nice job on the new brakes. Did they come painted(?) black? Those rotors look sweet too! Now I see why the shifters are called "short shifters"! Tom
