I have a few exhaust hangers in the basement.....whats the difference between a 90 and 91+?? Any pics

I don't know the difference in '90 and the '91+ but it is a different part number. I asked only because there's been many NCRS requests and if this were for an NCRS project it could be of concern. If I needed one I'd likely try either.
The '92+ LT1 cars use the same hanger so there shouldn't be a problem collecting one to try. |

My 1990 did not seem to be drastically different on my car, but maybe is was switched with the Corsa system before I bought it.....I will look again but I did not see a part # on either of them.

Some 1990 hangers have extra screws on the passenger side of trans tail housing,they are a pain to take off you can only do it with open end wrench little at a time.
Kind of like a U shape,if you cut the one part of the U bracket it will look just like a 1991 and later brackets. GM must've have figured out they didn't need 4 screws for that part of the exhaust bracket. The 1991 bracket will work on the 1990 just the same as they do on all 1991-1996. Pete
