I have already posted this in the Parts section, but thought I can get more responses by posting here also, so excuse the double post......
After reading articles about the "chain rattle" I see that the upgrade part for the Birmal Heads is no longer available, part #12550580 Tensioner, Timing Chain R/H (Updated) 1990 - 1995 Model Does anyone know where one might be, have contacted some vendors, but no luck as of yet. Thanks for any info......................Tom

Ok. What I have is the Tensioner Housing. I don't have a part number however.
Its a NOS part and I can't tell you whether its a right or left hand housing. EDIT: Looking at Jerry's catalog, the oil lube hole is in front not on the side, so this is a RH Tensioner Housing. ![]() ![]() Hope this helps. Last edited by XfireZ51; 07-24-2014 at 03:20 PM. |
