Weatherstrip kits

With so many companies to buy weatherstrip kits from, what has been everyone's experience with fit and quality?

Mine is still all original and showing its age a little.

I couldn't agree more with weatherstrip

Robert found a company who have one of the better reproductions out there. I haven't inspected them myself but many like it. There are many companies selling reproduction weatherstrip that is far inferior and last only a few years versus the original

I'll send Robert this link and ask him to respond with the companies info

I redid mine with OEM but I haven't seen any for sale for quite a quite

Anyway the weatherstripping is as close to original GM as possible. It is not the heavy EPDM that comes from Europe or the lightweight foam that is made in the US.

Dropped in on Marc Haibeck yesterday, and weatherstripping was one of the topics he touched on. Dittos on the Corvette Rubber.
And you're 100% right about the texture: By feel it is as you said, Robert; noticeably firmer than OE, but waaaay softer than some others I've sampled.

I'll be a placin' an order here purdy soon. According to Marc, Safelight put a new windshield in a car he was working on for (I believe it was) $280 installed, including the glass. It looked beautiful!
