Default 1991 ZR-1 binding in shifter

My 91' has a very slight binding going from 1st to 6th and 6th to 1st, happens about 33% of time. When it happens, it requires a little more force to get it into gear. Is there and bushings, or any maintenance that can be done to the shifter assembly outside the transmission?

Thanks, everyone.

I believe if I were in your location I'd maybe drive by and visit KW and have him drive it. I understand KW is/was quite a driver in the day and there's likely "no one" in your vicinity that would understand the ZF any better. We know he has parts! I would leave maybe my wallet and CC's at home! Driver license and registration only!

When would you want to go from 1st to 6th? Or visa versa....
