Hi all,
I have a friend who has a 94 corvette and is looking for a white hardtop for it. Anyone out there know of one for sale? |

Funny thing, I have a white 1990 and am also wanting to purchase a solid top, however I would paint one if not white.

Re: Targa hardtop for 94-96 corvette
Fiberglass hard tops are hard to come by, I have seen several on ebay some in decent condition starting at around $350.00, check there once and awhile. I found one on Craig's List in the San Antonio, Texas area this guy does re-skins on transparent (see thru) tops but he can also get a hold of fiberglass ones as well. I paid $350.00 for one that was black took the top to a local Chevy dealer and they used paint code off my 91 and did an excellent job. I also bought the metal trim piece and am putting new weather striping on the sides as well. Check Craig's list I'm sure guy can find you one he travels all over picking them up.

Might try Melrose T tops or Vette2Vette

Re: Targa hardtop for 94-96 corvette
Make sure its OEM because some of these light weight after market tops have a lot of cracks, etc. I bought one through Zip Corvettes and took it to the dealer and he spotted that it was aftermarket just by looking at the edges, I returned it to zip for refund and could tell with the OEM it weighed more but the new paint job from the dealer was nice. The painter could spot the reproduction real easy plus the Zip one was near $900.00 and unpainted the one I bought was $350.00 and repainted for under $500.00 so weigh your options. A lot of reproductions are cheaply made.
