Clutch issue after storing car
Hi Guys,
My 90 ZR1 just turned 32k mi. I've had it non op and in my garage for around 2 years. I start it maybe every 2 mos. I know, it needs to be on the road. Anyway, I'm having some trouble getting it into gear until it warms up. Is the clutch res under the ecm? If that's it how high to top off and should I do this when cold? The pedal is going to the floor. Thanks again |

Re: Clutch issue after storing car
Welcome onto the boards there.
Had the same problem with my '90 (also 32k (yours Red??? ) ) when I got it. Mine was a leaking seal, and allowing fluid to drip inside the firewall, from the pedal pushrod. Maybe check there first.

Re: Clutch issue after storing car
Hi Schrade,
No it's white. I've not checked the level on this for some time. Do I need to move the ecm to do this? Thanks |

Re: Clutch issue after storing car
Yes, you'll need to move the ECM it's easy 2 10mm (I think) nuts and it will move out of the way. May want to think about rebuilding the master and slave. It's not expensive or very hard to do and you'll be back to 100%.
