A/C question
Okay my A/c isnt working, now at the pressure switch on the low pressure side I dont have power going there. I can jump it and force the compressor on. My fuse is good in the fuse box on the passanger side dash is there anywhere else I can check??

Re: A/C question
If I understood you right - if you jump the low pressure switch you can get compressor to run? If that is the case you are most likely low on freon....

Re: A/C question
I had an intermittent "no engage" of the A/C clutch on my Dodge truck. Went thru the whole troubleshooting process and narrowed it down to the clutch itself. Got a clutch rebuild kit, did it, and it works now. The magnetic coil that engages the clutch had a crack in it - which I assume shorted it when it got hot and expanded. Mine would work til it got hot then nothing... So if you continue to have issues that might be something to check..
I can't answer your gauges question - not smart enough to know how to read them. I'm one of those who hooks a can of Refrigerant to the thing and adds til it gets cold and the compressor cycles right. And if it gets overfilled - I let some out til it works right. Not very scientific I know - but it works for me...
