For ScottFab- Ball Joint removal
Here you go Scott. Did this yesterday. No damage. They pop out nicely. You can even do it multiple times.

No, I did this because Pete noticed my upper A arms were installed backwards. IOW, Left was on the right and vice versa. I know I re-installed the arms the way they came off when I did the bushings so I must have gotten the car that way. Never thought to look. Now that dyno runs were completed and before th 1/2 mile, I wanted to make certain everything was correct. A-arms are now swapped into correct positions and going for alignment this week.

Re: For ScottFab- Ball Joint removal
I've had good luck with this tool to separate the lower ball joint. I always like to see alternatives before beating the crap out of it with a pickle fork and hammer.

Your puller idea is what I was hoping for. And I just happen to have a Craftsman puller just like the one you show. Thanks again.
