A little fun with some of the Z's at Carlisle
Just for the fun of it I messed around with some of the photos of the 35 excellent Z's up at Millers

I'm not a "chrome" fan personally though some C3 owners and C6 owners like doing engine bays in chrome.

Nada. It is just art and the most artistic thing on our zr-1s is the flowing plenum, at least in my view. Art is subjective...as you know.

Re: A little fun with some of the Z's at Carlisle
Hey, there! I did smoke a wicked Audi M8 race car on the way home from Carlisle so there was some of that even if I started one gear too high. Old mother LT5 put her rpms on and hauled *** to make up for my mistake. Just got back from a 90 mile drive on an 87 degree F. day down to Jamestown, crossed on the ferry and back.
In future, I'll save the art photos for a crowd with slightly different sensibilities. They were just for fun and whimsical at best. If you have photo post processing decent software you can experiment and do many things with them as well. This crowd likes more Red Meat. Throwing art out there is sort of like having Vikings at a British ladies tea party! LOL. Just kidding but every now and then you get some interesting photos. I really like the one above with Lance Miller's Plenum and I really do believe the artsiest part of our cars is that plenum. Now, where were we? Oh, yeah, smoking rubber and eatin' Mustangs!

Audi I raced
I guess it was an Audi R8 not M8 and not the GT. I suspect he had the 4.2 L v8 which is 420 hp but only 319 ft lbs of torque. The other engine is a v10 with 560 hp but only 399 ft lbs of torque and I think is in the gt model which is almost twice as expensive as the $114,000 R8 with the 4.2L.
No wonder he was surprised that the Zr-1 got ahead of him. Torque, Torque, Torque, Torque...... Hard not to love the Z and mother LT5 who is a beast, righteously so. Lance
