Default B&B Exhaust (ZR1)

B&B exhaust system complete in boxes.
I bought a "New" style system and exchanged the mufflers and resinator from my old system.
The system that I have for sale has the new pipes and clamps AND the "old" style resinator and mufflers off my car. So the mufflers and resinator are used. I needed quiet.
600.00 plus shipping.

Question Re: B&B Exhaust (ZR1)

Having had both systems on the same car, how much of a difference would you say there is, 10%, 20% reduction?

50% reduction in resonance and about 20% in sound. The sound is still nice and crisp with the newer muffs and res, like a Big Block Chev. But at the cost of horsepower.
It all depends what one likes. Some say that the new system isn't loud enough. As they say ....different strokes for different folks. That's what makes the world go round.

The B&B system has been sold !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

That is a significant reduction in resonance, so I cannot imagine what mine would sound like with an older system, especially since I have an x-pipe rather than a resonator.

When you say "new system" what do you mean by by that? I purchased a B&B system about 3 months ago and had to send the mufflers back beacause the tips were not correct so I haven't installed it yet. Will my system be the "new" one you are talking about? Will there be less resonence then the "old" system had? I have been told the B&B is very annoying inside the car during long highway runs.
