Default Passed California SMOG test today

Congrats.

And good thing they didn't drop the requirements from last time too. Seems like they keep dropping the figures every time i go in for the test.

The state dropped the levels in 4-2010,expect another drop in a year or 2.

If you plan on registering that car in the sate of Ca you might want to make sure those headers have a C.A.R.B number.As far as I know nobody is selling headers that are legal in Ca.

^^^ They run the car pretty slowly during the run, but I test using the stock chip.

I am the third owner of my car and have never seen the 1 - 4 shift displayed so I expect there is a modified chip installed.

Where is the chip and how do I really determine if it is stock?

Also if needed is a stock chip readily available?

When I put my stock chip in thats what I got. Annoying as hell. LOL.

The Prom inside the ECM should have AYBK, AUAH, ANHX..... If its stock.

I've used a ZIF socket on the MEMCAL so I can change out the chip when needed. I had JR burn me a chip with the latest stock bin.
