Re: Passed California SMOG test today
Congrats.
And good thing they didn't drop the requirements from last time too. Seems like they keep dropping the figures every time i go in for the test.

When having the car smogged are you utilizing the valet or full power mode?

Re: Passed California SMOG test today
^^^ They run the car pretty slowly during the run, but I test using the stock chip.

Re: Passed California SMOG test today
I am the third owner of my car and have never seen the 1 - 4 shift displayed so I expect there is a modified chip installed.
Where is the chip and how do I really determine if it is stock? Also if needed is a stock chip readily available?

Re: Passed California SMOG test today
When I put my stock chip in thats what I got. Annoying as hell. LOL.
The Prom inside the ECM should have AYBK, AUAH, ANHX..... If its stock. I've used a ZIF socket on the MEMCAL so I can change out the chip when needed. I had JR burn me a chip with the latest stock bin.
