Lumbar Pump question...
So I pulled up the seats in my Vette to go after the lumbar function not working and all I could get the pumps on both sides to do was make a clicking noise. I know this sounds like a stupid question, are the motors completely fried or is there a way to repair them? If they are completely fried the cheapest place I found for a replacement was a site called Davies Corvette Parts and accessories:
http://corvetteparts.com/c4/item/pum...bly-1984-1993/ Anybody ever done business with them? Are they reliable? |

Re: Lumbar Pump question...
The clicking is most likely whats left of the pump diaphragm flopping around in the small housing. While your looking at the pump system might as well start looking for the seat bladders, these fall apart with age.

Re: Lumbar Pump question...
Yeah I spotted that one and thought if it was just the diaphragm the motor would cycle continuously; mine makes a single click and that's it.
