Re: Bose cd player.
I have the same issue and was going to take care of this spring. Under the "How To" section of the members only section is an article on "How to Troubleshoot the Bose System". It is very heplful. Also, I called Factory Car Syereo Repair, Inc. 1978 Corporate Sq. Suite 102, Longwood, Florida @ 407-327-5033. They were very helpful with questions and prices and turn around time. Hope this help. Let me know how it goes.

Re: Bose cd player.
I can only speak for Doctor Dons since I have not used anyone else. They were awesome, great customer service, shipping, etc. I can highly recommend their service as I had the same issues with my unit and my speakers.

Re: Bose cd player.
Broken Bose radio/cd is a very common problem. I sent mine to Dr. Don's and got great service and pricing. Would send back to him if anything else goes wrong.

Sorry, I forgot to mention about the common issue. Yes, I think so and I found much archives about it when I got my Z and decided to deep the factory system boxed up and replaced it with Custom Autosound Stereo. IMHO the Bose system sounds like poop.... Granted all it is them making brackets and faceplates/wiring for easy plug in installation for the price, I did not what to have someone else messing around with my system and wanted to easily make it back to stock. The technical help was also used and excellent for the few questions I did have when doing the install myself. I bought mine years ago JVC system with CD and hidden faceplate that is great for security since when looking in it does not appear to have a stereo system. I'm not sure what models they have now for our Zs. http://www.customautosound.com/aplacations.htm |
