I've got one in perfect cond gathering dust on my bench.
I prefer the AutoXray 6000 myself If you're interested in an Innova - I'd be happy to helpyou out

I use the 6000 as well. If your planning on keeping the ZR-1 for a while maybe you should consider a TECH-1A. Its old school and can be picked up fairly cheap on Ebay and Craigslist but it was the same tool the techs used at GM

Re: Does anyone use the Innova 3140
Sorry, I mislead you... just got back from a trip and checked - mine is a 3120, not a 3140.

Re: Does anyone use the Innova 3140
You'd want to contact them and see first if they will work on the Z. I use AutoXray, and they were able to post a download for mine. However, it was a "special", in terms of "we don't get much call for that one". So, I'd ask 'em about that first. Our ECMs are warmed over L98 units, and there are plenty of them around. So, logically speaking...But, till ya ask 'em...
The price is right tho. If you try one out, be sure to let us know how it works out! P.

Re: Does anyone use the Innova 3140
I just talked to the company . They said it will work / That the computer is basically the same as a standard vette.. I dont know if this is correct ? The dude that answered sounded like he was 1/2 asleep . ( probably one of the walking dead any opinions ?

Re: Does anyone use the Innova 3140
There is a Tech 1A on ebay .. $420.00 but it only does up to 1995 which is great for the vette but doesn't do new cars. Will it do something that the Innova or auto-xray can't do or do it better ?

Re: Does anyone use the Innova 3140
There is lots that the autoX-ray does not do that I assume (dangerous word) the Tech will do - for example the ABS, A/C and FX-3 modules. The auto-Xray basically will read an log data from the ECM and reset trouble codes - thats about it.
