Default Fiberglass and vacuum leak

Just took a look at a 90 ZR-1. Car looked great. The only thing that bothered me was there where a few cracks in the fiberglass and the owner said the vacuum pump comes on every 30 or so seconds. When I was looking at the car the pump only came on to prime it and it did not come on any afterwards. The car also had no hesitation from what I could tell.

Would if be possible to have the fiberglass damage redone, and how much of a problem might it be to have the potential leak taken care of?

where is the fiberglass cracked? as for the vacuum system...get Haibeck to burn you a chip to make the car run on all 16 all the time and tie open the actuators.

First, we need to determine how the glass was cracked. How hard it was hit and where was it hit. The cracks may be a result of being hit somewhere else on the body. Stress cracks from a hit somewhere else. SMC must be repaired correctly or it WILL bleed back through.

These cars do not crack by themselves. SMC is very strong.
