91-95 Rear Bumper Moldings
I need a set to make molds from. I will buy them from you. Just let me know what you have a how much?
I plan to make a set of molds and then send a set of my repros off to have a set of urethane molds made. If I can get the urethane molds made, I can cast the moldings and then install stud inserts. If I can't find any, I'll just make a set from regular C4 moldings and then make molds for repro set that I can send out for a urethane mold set. Thanks Brett

Re: 91-95 Rear Bumper Moldings
I have a new set, but don't want to sell them..........How about a deposit for what they are worth, when I get them back you get your depsoit back?
I also have right and left 1/4 mlds that need to be made also. Its should be done as this will be a needed part for some of us. if you dont have to buy them you can pass the saving on to all in need. Will the repos be made of glass or what? they are some type of hard plastic now (abs) |

After thoughtful consideration, I think that I'll make a set of moldings from piecing togther some standard Corvette moldings to ZR1 specs. I can then have a set of urethane molds made from them. I'm afraid that if I borrow a set that they may get scratched or damaged getting them out of the molds during the initial mold making. I appreciate the offer to borrow a set. I would consider buying a set if someone has them though. Thanks Brett

Brett, put me down for the 1st set. I'm in need of a few pieces now. I know you just posted this today but when do you think to have them done.

Re: 91-95 Rear Bumper Moldings
It will take a few months, most likely. I'll have to send the moldings off to have the urethane molds made. This sometimes takes a while to get them back.

Re: 91-95 Rear Bumper Moldings
Brett, the molding on a base bumper is part of the bumper,it doesnt come off,at least not without a saw.The small dogleg molding from a base car is maybe an inch longer than a ZR-1 part but this could easily be modified to ZR-1 specs for a mold. You need the actual moldings for a 91-95 ZR-1.I have one complete side, rear you can borrow but they cant get damaged, these are used so scratches arent a concern.
