Re: Ported Intake
I expect that's probably about the cheapest 30ish HP one can add.
I like this deal - but am putting off for my winter project, will definitely want to discuss options in the fall. GLWS

Re: Ported Intake
I keep thinking of these but am having a kind of classical year - you know, "baroque". OTOH I did skip buying tires this season so as to be able to address some things on the car.
Can you tell me what the change is from the porting to the head on a 91? By race class rules I can only go 1 inch into the head, and I worry that an aggressively ported IH/Plenum might make too big a step to take up in an inch. Not to mention how would you go about making the shape to take up the step - a conical hone type of thing?? Has anyone ever bolted the likes of these on a virgin head? What kind of gains can be expected with the stock heads? I would love to make these work; what the heck the rules allow it.... They'd even save a few pounds up high! Thanks, - Jeff

Re: Ported Intake
The secondaries start out as 36mm on the cylinder head side. You can do port match and keep it within an inch. It all helps. I had 36mm porting on top end with a port match at the head. Still developed ~399rwhp.

Re: Ported Intake
Hi:
Do you also do the same for 93-95 (the pre-ported parts in exchange for stock) ?

Re: Ported Intake
If I had a set of 93-95 IHs and plenum I would do the exchange, but I do not. And buying a set is pricey....I would be willing to do a set over the winter, but I work and do not want to make a promise I can't keep in terms of time line.
