Need advice on rear shocks???
I need rear shocks bad! I can not find the original equipment bilstein shocks anywhere, until late July or August from eshock... Thanks to a link from David Johnson...
So AutoZone tells me there is an aftermarket Bilstein shock that is made for the ZR1. Has anyone used these shocks???? the part # is F4B461178HO Any advice would be appreciated, hoping to install them before leaving for BG!

Re: Need advice on rear shocks???
I just checked Autozone and that is a non-FX3 (non-adjustable) Bilstein.
Have you tried shox.com? |

Re: Need advice on rear shocks???
Interesting that Corvette Central shows rear FX3 as discontinued for 89-91
You could always get yours rebuilt by Bilstein (or if you don't have an old set - buy used and then rebuild)

Re: Need advice on rear shocks???
Hi, I've just checked and I got my shox from vettepros.usa, not Lingenfelter. Sorry for the mistake. Lingenfelter, Carolina Clutch, Rock Auto, Bill Boudreau, they are all great, friendly and highly professional. So are vettepro, of course.
Greetings from sunny Spain Dick

Re: Need advice on rear shocks???
I got a full set from Lingenfelter. They were fitted by RedLine Estepona (Spain). Pret-ty good, pret-ty pret-ty good! Hope you find some, there aren't any in Europe!
cheers, Richard
