1990 OEM Goodyear Eagle Tires
I am replacing the Goodyear Eagle tires on my 1990. I believe these are the original tires that the car was delivered with. They have ~20,000 miles on them. Some tread is still left.
The rubber has hardened as expected and I cannot put much power to the ground. I would not trust them for other than show in an NCRS type setting. The rears are P315/35ZR17 and have 1/8 to 3/16 inch tread remaining. The fronts are P275/40ZR17 and have 3/16 to 1/4 inch tread remaining. Would these be of value to anybody? If so, you could pick them up or pay for shipping. I need to know by this Thursday. |

Re: 1990 OEM Goodyear Eagle Tires
Driving on the street with tires that old is quite dangerous. Those tires are only good for NCRS judging and little else. When you have them dismounted, make sure the tire pressure sensors don't get damaged. You may want to remove the sensors since they have the nasty habit of coming loose at high speed. Those tires are conversation pieces now. Keep them with the car if they are the originals.
