Default has anyone heard of R.K. machine in ridley ok?

no? me either...till about 5 minutes ago. I was watching HD theater and they're showing the 2004 power tour. They made a side stop at R.K machine in ridley ok and among the tons of other stuff he's got kicking around there, he had 5 LT5's. NOw i did some googleing i couldn't seem to locate a website for them, but i did find a phone number. I'm kicking around the idea of giving this guy a call and seeing if he's got any spare parts that he'd want to sell

Rick Kirk he did some work for mercury, in fact I believe all the LT-5s he had were ones that were fixed with the cam tolerence issue.

Rick is a friend of mine, I'm proud to say. In spite of being a "Ford guy", he's one helluva ZR-1 dude with the best collection of ZR-1 memorabilia in existence.

He was so well thought of by the entire LT5 team, that they gave him a special LT5 engine, all polished and engrave signed by all of the MerCruiser Team as well as the Lotus/GM group. It has a plaque "To Rick Kirk from Graham Behan.

He's a book on the LT5 all by himself. In a way, he has his mark on every LT5 built. If you have one of the red, air inlet covers, look on the inside..

You won't find a website for Rick. I'm planning on documenting Rick's involvement with the LT5 program, so everyone can get to know him a little and realize the part he played. he should have been a whole chapter in the Heart of the Beast.

Doesn't Rick have a huge Ford parts/car collection, including at least one unrestored Shelby Cobra?

The inside of my inlet cover has "R.K. MACHINE RIPLEY. OKLAHOMA 74062" Interesting to know the correlation.
