Plenum and Cam Cover bolts
After The Gathering I am planning on doing a plenum pull along with some other parts and have the top end refinished on #1639. The bolts are not in the best of shape what are my options here?
Thanks, Daniel

LGAFF, Yes, I was after a Comp Yellow and Black 95 or a DRM and Black 90 but I never could find just the right car. When I saw the Baker car at The Gathering last year I just fell for it never expecting to see her for sale... Once someone told me it was up for sale I couldn't get it off my mind LOL Quote:
That is exactly what I am looking for! Who does that? You sell the cam cover emblems correct? I want to get this car cleaned up correctly. Daniel |

I prefer to do things myself and this seems like an easy thing to do as long as prep is done properly. I was thinking sodium blasting the parts to remove the old coatings and then painting. Would you see any drawbacks to the sodium blasting? I will PM you on the emblems. The 90 Buzz had was his DD for a good time, if I remember correctly? Is this the same car you had the Gen I Dymags on? The torx heads are not stripped (well to my knowledge they are not I have not seen the car I am having it shipped directly to the NCM and I will pick it up on the 10th or 11th of May when I drop the GS off on loan again.) They just look like they have some surface rust on them. Quote:
Thank you Sir! These links are going to help if anything is stripped Daniel |
